“My kids are my backbone; I don’t joke with them” – Annie Macaulay Idibia says as she speaks on her new project following separation from 2baba (Video)

Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay Idibia has declared her daughters her backbone.

The movie star, who was at the 17th edition of Headies Awards where she presented an award to one of the winners at the ceremony, in an interview with BBC Pidgin, said her daughters, Isabella and Olivia are her daughters.

Annie revealed that she is working on her own online TV station, and her daughters have already created an 11-episode series for it.

“My kids dey Kampe, my first daughter dey Yankee, she dey go school. No play with that girl o. I don’t play with my kids. Na them be my backbone.

Right now, I am working on my own online TV Station, which is Annie Macaulay TV, so make una ready for different things. My daughters have done 11 episodes, which would soon air on my TV”.

At the award ceremony, Annie made headlines when she took a swipe at her ex-husband with her introduction. While presenting on stage, the mother of two reintroduced herself to the public, taking a swipe at her ex. She made it known that she is no longer Annie Idibia but Annie Macaulay and announced to the world that she is single.

A few days back, Annie was in tears as her second daughter, Olivia, freestyled a heartfelt song for her. The mother of two shared a video of Olivia freestyling for her, as she assured Annie that she would be with her till the end. Captioning the video, Annie gushed over her mini-me as she called her ‘her superstar’.

On Mother’s Day, Annie’s first daughter, Isabella, had described her as the best mother a girl could ever ask for. Wishing her a happy Mother’s Day, Isabella affirmed her undying love for her.

Refreshing your memory, in January, her legendary singer husband, 2baba, had announced his separation from her. He has since moved on from her with Edo-state lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.

Blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus had alleged that Annie was in rehab and was in a very bad state. But luckily for her, singer Tiwa Savãge and media personality, Toke Makinwa were taking care of her.
