Nollywood actress Bisola Badmus marked her birthday on Thursday by looking back on a painful chapter of her life.

Naijaonpoint reports that she revealed that her health crisis began in 2022, when doctors confirmed she had a brain tumour.

She said the illness drained her savings, weakened her, and nearly claimed her life before she recovered.

According to her, the experience was frightening and nothing she would ever wish on anyone.

She thanked God for keeping her alive and restoring her strength.

She added that she is now fully healthy and able to celebrate another year.

The actress also expressed deep appreciation to the people who supported her when things were tough, saying that she cannot mention all their names but remains grateful.

Bisola also thanked her family, friends, colleagues, and especially her son, Abdul Malik, who she said stood by her during the most demanding moments.

She prayed for long life so she can raise him well and enjoy life with him.

As she celebrated, she said she had lost a lot during the period of treatment, but she remains thankful that her life was preserved.

She described herself as a living testimony and asked her fans to join her in thanking God.

Earlier, while counting down to her birthday, she had posted a photo from her treatment days and shared how much she had endured.

She maintained that her survival is proof of divine help.
