NAF Releases Shortlist For 2025 Direct Short Service Commission Aptitude Test

Nigerian DSSC

The Nigerian Air Force has published the list of candidates shortlisted to sit for the Zonal General Aptitude Test in the ongoing Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) 34/2025 enlistment exercise.

The announcement was made earlier today, October  21, in a statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame. According to him, the nationwide aptitude test will take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at designated centres across the country.

“Eligible applicants are to report for the zonal general aptitude test at the centres indicated against their names on the Portal,” the statement read.

Applicants who made the shortlist have been directed to check their names and confirm their test locations by visiting the official recruitment portal at https://nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng.

The DSSC programme provides a pathway for qualified degree holders, both civilians and serving military personnel, to be commissioned as officers in the Nigerian Air Force. Successful candidates will undergo intensive military training expected to last between six and nine months.

Naijaonpoint reports that the Applications for the DSSC 34/2025 intake opened in August, inviting professionals from various fields including engineering, medicine, and cybersecurity. The recruitment reflects the Force’s growing focus on developing specialised skills to meet the demands of modern warfare.
