By Adedapo Adesanya The Naira closed the final session of the week weaker against the United States Dollar in the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM) after it lost N2.2 per cent or N29.35 on Friday to trade at N1,339.23/$1, in contrast to Thursday’s closing value of N1.309.08/$1. However, it improved its value against the British Pound Sterling in the official market yesterday by N202.13 to settle at N1,453.07/£1 compared with the preceding day’s rate of N1,655.20/£1, and against the Euro, it appreciated by N176.01 to trade at N1,247.03/€1 versus the N1,423.04/€1 it exchanged a day earlier.
