Now while $1,099.99 is still expensive for a vacuum, this is not an ordinary vacuum. It does a lot of stuff a normal vacuum will not do. For starters, this is a robot vacuum and a robot mop in one unit. My absolute favorite feature is the DirtSense technology. This feature will sense whether or not your floors are completely clean, or if there’s more dirt to scrub away. Once it starts a cleaning session, it’ll proceed to mop your floors and vacuum at the same time.

Periodically throughout the cleaning session, it heads back to the base station and self-empties the dirty water. The base station then analyzes the water to see how dirty it is. And the Freo X Ultra will continue to mop until that water comes back clean. You can also set this thing up on schedules so it cleans at the same time every day. Plus, when it’s done mopping and vacuuming, the base station will wash the mop pads and dry them.

Another really great feature is the way it compresses dust and debris in the bin. With most robot vacuums, the bin in the vacuum fills up, then it goes back to the base station to have it self-empty.
