The NASD Over-the-Counter (OTC) Securities Exchange closed weaker by 0.45 per cent on Monday, June 16, with the value of the platform going down by N8.72 billion to close at N1.947 trillion compared with the preceding session’s N1.956 trillion.
In the same vein, the NASD Unlisted Security Index (NSI) depreciated yesterday by 14.89 points to settle at 3,326.33 points compared with the previous session’s 3,341.22 points.
There was a rise in the volume of securities transacted by investors during the session by 108.3 per cent to 479,638 units from the 230,253 units, the value of transactions rose by 138.4 per cent to N21.8 million from N9.1 million, while the number of deals remained unchanged at 37 deals.
Impresit Bakolori Plc was the most active stock by volume on a year-to-date basis with 536.9 million units worth N524.7 million, followed by Air Liquide Plc with 507.1 million units traded for N4.2 billion, and Geo-Fluids Plc with 268.4 million units sold for N475.7 million.
Also, Okitipupa Plc was the most traded stock by value on a year-to-date basis with 153.7 million units valued at N4.9 billion, trailed by Air Liquide Plc with 507.1 million units worth N4.2 billion and FrieslandCampina Wamco Nigeria Plc with 39.2 million units traded at N1.6 billion.
During the trading session, FrieslandCampina Wamco Nigeria Plc lost N2.34 to close at N68.50 per unit compared with last Friday’s value of N70.84 per unit, and Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS) Plc declined by 83 Kobo to finish at N29.83 pr share versus N29.00 per share.
