NBA YoungBoy is shedding light on the meaning behind his album title MASA.
In a recent interview with Complex, the rapper, who was named Best Rapper Alive of 2025 by the outlet, explained that MASA stands for “Make America Slime Again.”
When asked what that phrase means to him, NBA YoungBoy responded, “Follow whatever Trump applying,” he said. “In every way. Enforce whatever Trump’s applying. That’s it.”
The 26-year-old declined to elaborate on whether the album title relates to any personal relationship with President Donald Trump or to speculation about a possible presidential pardon.
The interview comes during a productive stretch for the Baton Rouge native. He recently released his ninth studio album, Slime Cry, and announced the launch of his own production company, 38 Films. The company’s first project will be a documentary chronicling his life and career, produced with Foundation Media Partners and directed by Nico Ballesteros.
