Ajetsibo Emami, a notorious drug kingpin popularly known as ‘Warri Kinsman, has been arrested by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Ikeja, Lagos over drug trafficking.
According to the NDLEA, Emami’s arrest follows a three-day operation during which operatives dismantled his drug trafficking network and apprehended three additional suspects.
On Saturday, 28th June, NDLEA operatives recovered 24 jumbo bags containing 681 pouches of Canadian Loud—a potent strain of cannabis—weighing a total of 414.2 kilograms from Emami’s network.
The successful operation was based on credible intelligence that revealed Ajetsibo Emami plan to transport the illicit shipment to the Lekki area of Lagos, from where it was to be distributed within the state and across Nigeria.
The agency also disclosed that it intercepted cocaine shipments hidden inside lipsticks and property title documents bound for the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia, respectively.
The cocaine consignments were discovered on Thursday, 3rd July 2025, by NDLEA officers from the Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) stationed at a Lagos-based courier company preparing the cargos for international shipment.
Officers seized 420 grams of cocaine ingeniously concealed in 84 pieces of female lipsticks intended for the UK, and 280 grams of the same drug hidden inside a property title document (Certificate of Occupancy, C of O) destined for Saudi Arabia.”
