The mother-in-law of Brigadier General Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd), Hajiya Zainab Hussain, has passed away.

Naijaonpoint reports that Marwa is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA)

Hajiya Hussain, who is the mother of Hajiya Munira Marwa, wife of the NDLEA boss, died in the early hours of Saturday, June 21, 2025, in Abuja. She was 76 years old.

The funeral prayer (Janazah) will be held today, Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the National Mosque in Abuja.

She will be laid to rest immediately after at Gwarinpa Cemetery.

“We pray that Allah (SWT) forgives her shortcomings, grants her eternal rest, and admits her into Aljannatul Firdaus,” the family said in a statement to Naijaonpoint

The family has also asked for prayers and support during this difficult period.
