Despite his separation from his beloved wife, Regina Daniels, Nigerian senator Ned Nwoko is still surrounded by people who love him.
The politician who turned a new age a day back, shared clips from his intimate birthday bash with just his wife, kids and a few friends.
Ned, in his caption, noted how birthdays may be ordinary days to him, but moments like these, filled with family and life, make them truly special.
The politician expressed gratitude to everyone who reached out, showed up, called, messaged, and celebrated him. He noted how the love, kind words, and thoughtful gestures didn’t go unnoticed.

Recall that in October, Regina ended things with him citing domestic violence as her reasons for leaving her marriage.
Ned, in a public statement, had attributed the tension to what he described as her “battle with drugs and alcohol abuse.” According to Nwoko, his efforts to help his wife seek professional treatment are always resisted.
In an interview with NAN, the politician explained that he wants Regina to go to rehab to be alive and healthy, not just for himself, but for their children.
Last week that Regina called out Ned for constantly publicising her children to garner negative attention from their father. She pointed out the irony that someone of his status could be posting his kids at this time, knowing fully well it would attract media scrutiny.
Responding to her, Nwoko described her account as misleading and inconsistent with their family’s past practices. He said that sharing photos and videos of the children had always been a normal part of family life. According to him, Regina Daniels had also posted the children publicly for years without raising privacy concerns. Nwoko stated that her absence from the children’s lives was a personal choice, not something imposed on her.
Since their separation Nwoko has been channelling his love and energy to Laila.
The couple had attended the 55th birthday of his colleague, Senator Jarigbe. Nwoko was captured hanging out with Mercy Johnson’s husband, which raised eyebrows on social media.
In an Instagram post, Ned had sung her praises for not chasing clout on social media. He described Laila as the woman he loves and cherishes, and one whose quiet strength continues to amaze him every single day. He vowed to always stand by her, speak for her when needed, and protect her name and pride.
