WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Nelly has spoken about his past beef with Detroit rapper Eminem and issued an apology for his behavior at the time. “I misinterpreted something when I was really, really new and I want to apologize to Em,” he told Bootleg Kev. “But I was at a time where I’m coming in, I’m the new guy, anybody talking, you know. Ye from the Lou. Somehow I misinterpreted that he had something to say about what we were doing.”
Nelly says that they squashed their beef after they both attended an afterparty. Eminem was with his daughter Hailey, who was a fan, and wanted to speak with Nelly, and the “Country Grammer” rapper agreed. “I felt like a d–k, man. Because we were Eminem fans! It was just a miscommunication, man,” he explained. “Em is the G.O.A.T., man. He’s a dope cat, man. I’m glad we got that out the way. It’s f–ked up when people that you f–k with and that you admire. It’s like, dude spits,” he continued adding that he was glad they were able to squash the beef.
