NeNe Leakes Is OFFICIALLY Coming Back to Bravo
Whew. The door that many thought was permanently slammed shut has officially cracked back open.
Media Take Out can confirm that NeNe Leakes is returning to Bravo, and yes, the comeback is real.
NeNe Joins ‘Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip’
According to sources, NeNe will appear on the upcoming season of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, which is reportedly titled Ultimate Road Trip.
The concept this season is a little different. Instead of being stationed in one luxury location, Housewives from different franchises will be hitting the road together, traveling across the country and visiting fellow Housewives along the way.
The trip is meant to celebrate 20 years of The Real Housewives, which officially began when The Real Housewives of Orange County debuted in March 2006.
Her First Bravo Appearance Since 2020
If this holds, this will mark NeNe’s first appearance on Bravo since leaving The Real Housewives of Atlanta in 2020.
As fans remember, NeNe’s exit was not quiet.
After leaving RHOA, NeNe filed a lawsuit against Bravo and Andy Cohen, alleging racism and a hostile work environment. That lawsuit was later dismissed by the courts, but it left many convinced NeNe would never return to the network.
Clearly, time heals… or at least cools things down.
Filming Starts Soon
We are told that filming for Ultimate Road Trip is expected to begin in late January, meaning cameras could be rolling in just a few weeks.
Bravo insiders say the network is leaning hard into nostalgia, legacy personalities, and unfinished business. And let’s be real, no one brings unfinished business like NeNe Leakes.
