Tottenham are looking to sign reinforcements this summer, and Ademola Lookman is one of their targets…
Premier League club Tottenham are set to complete the signing of Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig, which means they will be able to focus on signing Super Eagles attacker Ademola Lookman before the transfer window closes on Monday, Soccernet.ng reports.
Since Lookman’s failed transfer to Inter Milan, Tottenham has emerged as a potential destination for the Super Eagles star over the last few days.
This is as they need to add some quality to their squad due to their involvement in the UEFA Champions League and the increased level of competition in the Premier League.
However, the foremost player on their list has been Dutch attacking midfielder Simons. But according to transfers expert David Ornstein, Spurs have finalized a deal for the 22-year-old.
With Simons’ deal sorted, Tottenham now have time to look at other potential signings. And Lookman is next on their list.

Can Tottenham Sign Ademola Lookman?
Ademola Lookman has endured a difficult summer at Atalanta, as he has been linked with multiple clubs, but nothing concrete has emerged yet.
The 27-year-old forward is desperate to leave La Dea this summer and has even tendered a transfer request.
In an earlier report by Soccernet.ng, it was revealed that Tottenham had eyes on Lookman as a potential option due to Manchester City’s refusal to sell Savinho.
Atalanta value their man at around €50 million, and this is a fee that Tottenham can afford easily.
He would also fit into Thomas Frank’s setup pretty seamlessly due to his speed, technical ability, and impressive finishing.
With just four days left until the close of the transfer window, Spurs will look to close the deal as soon as possible.
