WATCH THE VIDEO HERE After weeks of intense nationwide promotion, Wale Adenuga Productions (WAP) has announced that the highly anticipated Papa Ajasco & Company: Gen Z Papi TV comedy will begin airing on October 1, 2024. The revamped series follows Papa Ajasco, now known as Gen Z Papi, as he becomes a renowned afrobeats musician, rivaling Emperor Agu. The show retains beloved characters – Papa Ajasco, Pa James, Mama Ajasco, Boy Alinco, and Miss Pepeiye – while introducing hilarious new supporting characters. The star-studded cast includes Jude Chukwuka, Jide Kosoko, Fatai Oodua (Lalude), Francis Odega, Yomi Fash-Lanso, Jaiye Kuti, Nobert Young, Shade Ayinke Ola (Iyalegba), Shirley Igwe, and Oluchi Amajuoyi. According to producer Wale Adenuga Jnr., “As the longest-running TV comedy in Nigeria, we’ve maintained popularity by keeping storylines and production styles fresh and relevant.” He added that the new production has received positive feedback from sample audiences.
