pokepark kanto

A new Pokémon theme park is opening next year, becoming the beloved franchise’s first permanent amusement park. Called PokéPark KANTO, information is already available on the official site regarding dates and maps of the park. Thankfully, we’re already getting to see what kind of exclusive merchandise will be up for grabs — and it looks pretty great.

According to the PokéPark KANTO website, the park is “located in Yomiuriland nestled among the verdant Tama Hills” and is the “first-ever permanent Pokémon outdoor facility.” Additionally, aspiring Pokémon Trainers can explore a “forest and town filled with more than 600 Pokémon.” Ticket pricing, opening dates, and maps are also available to view on the website, along with some of the merch fans can purchase while visiting.

PokéPark KANTO Exclusive Merchandise Revealed

What Kind Of Pokémon Items Fans Can Purchase

For those who visit PokéPark KANTO, there are multiple items themed around the park’s two main locations — Pokémon Forest and Sedge Town. T-shirts, tote bags, and more are available showcasing artwork for the forest or the town. There are also plenty of new Pikachu and Eevee plushes available in multiple sizes, along with headbands for each.

And it’s not just Pikachu and Eevee getting the headbands. Headbands for popular Pokémon like Psyduck, Vaporeon, Flareon, Jolteon, Vulpix, Clefairy, and Mr. Mime are also available. Of course, since this is based on Kanto region, all merchandise is focused on Gen 1 Pokémon.

For those who want to dine at the park, there are exclusive items as well — ice pops featuring Pikachu and Eevee; bottled beverages featuring Bellsprout, Psyduck, and more; and “special beverages” featuring Gen 1 starters Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle.
