WATCH THE VIDEO HERE The latest leak about the upcoming Galaxy Book4 Edge claims Samsung would offer three variants of the slim, powerful, and lightweight laptop. Moreover, the South Korean tech giant may have secured a top-end, no-compromise Snapdragon chipset, codenamed Oryon. It has been several months since Qualcomm announced the performance-oriented Snapdragon chipsets intended for laptops. The Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge series of laptops could be the first devices to be commercially available with these processors. The new notebook computers from Samsung surfaced in March this year, hinting at a lofty price tag. The latest leak claims Samsung would offer three variants of the Galaxy Book4 Edge laptops. Only the 16-inch variant would have the “Pro” moniker. This suggests there could be a 14-inch variant and a 16-inch non-Pro variant as well. One of the notable visual aspects includes a dedicated “Microsoft Copilot” button. It is important to note that these premium devices will have to run Windows on ARM (WoA) variant of Windows 11. This is because ARM CPU architecture does not support the X86 architecture on which the mainstream version of Windows 11 runs. According to the latest leak, all the laptop variants in the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge series will feature a thin design with a light silver color and grey keys. These laptops would be available in the “Arctic Blue” color option. It seems Samsung could be moving away from its preferred darker shades, which were visible on the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360. Samsung may also offer a copious number of ports on all the variants. Specifically speaking, the Galaxy Book4 Edge laptops may have two USB-C ports, a full-size HDMI port, and a headphone jack. Owing to the larger display, this variant would also have a dedicated number pad alongside the keyboard. Previous reports suggested the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge would pack as much as 16GB of RAM, and feature AMOLED displays at 3K resolution and 400 nits of peak brightness. The latest leak reiterates these claims. Although ARM-based CPUs are quite power efficient, Samsung seems to have built large cooling vents on the sides of these laptops. The 14-inch variant may be powered by the Snapdragon X Elite X1P-80-100 CPU. This CPU can reportedly go up to 4.0GHz. The 16-inch variant of the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge is packing the Snapdragon X Elite X1P-84-100 CPU, codenamed Oryon, the leak claims. If accurate, the upcoming Samsung laptop would have 12 high-performance cores, which could go up to 4.2GHz.Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge to have fully unlocked Qualcomm ARM chips, leak suggests
