Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara has sworn Into office the 23 local government chairmen Today, 6th October 2024.
Recall that on Saturday 6, October, the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission declared the Action Peoples Party, APP the winners of the election in 22 local government areas of the oil rich state while the Action Alliance, won one seat in Etche local government areas.
In a Government Special Announcement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Tammy Wenike Danagogo “His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, the Governor of Rivers State, will today Sunday, October 6, 2024, swear-in the newly elected Council Chairmen at the Executive Council Chambers, Government House, Port Harcourt, by 4pm.
