Investors in the Nigerian equities market lost N292 billion at the close of trading on Thursday.
This followed the dip in the share prices of stocks such as Neimeth, Omatek and Tantalizers, among others, on the trading floor.
The benchmark All-Share Index (ASI) fell to 144,187.03 points from the 144,646.01 points recorded the previous day.
After five hours of trading at the capital market, the equity capitalisation decreased to N91.7 trillion from N92 trillion posted by the bourse on Wednesday.
The market breadth was negative with 27 stocks advancing, 28 stocks declining, and 94 stocks remaining unchanged in 18,753 deals.
