WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Talk show host Sherri Shepherd and actress Nia Long are trending online this week after it was revealed that on Sunday night, Long confronted Shepherd at the opening of “Othello.”. Shepherd spoke about the confrontation on her show on Monday morning. She said she’d been run down by an “unnamed celebrity” before the show started. Shepherd did not reveal the name of the celebrity but a source told Page Six that Long was the perpetrator. “I get along with everybody. I really do,” Shepherd said. “So I’m standing there, and I was talking to Khadeen and Devale Ellis, and Devale Ellis is on ‘Sisters.’ So this unnamed celebrity actress, who shall remain nameless, I’m standing there talking, somebody grabbed my arm, and they forcefully turned me around.” Shepherd said she was “in a good mood,” so she greeted the actress warmly, but the actress did not feel the same way.
“She says to me, she goes, ‘You’ve been shading me a lot.’ That’s what she said to me,” Shepherd told her audience. “I said to her, ‘No, I haven’t.’ Because I was really confused,” she continued. “And she goes, ‘Yes, you have.’ And then she just walked off.” Shepherd denies shading the actress and says she even waited for her in the bathroom during the intermission, upset that the actress made such a dramatic statement and walked off. Shepherd invited the actress to come to her show and talk about it.
