Nicki Minaj Alleges Roc Nation Tried to Sabotage Her Career

MTO Square

Nicki Minaj is once again taking aim at Roc Nation, this time accusing the label of trying to ruin her career.

On social media, Minaj cosigned the explosive claims made by Demoree Hadley in a resurfaced livestream alongside political commentator Xavier DuRousseau.

Hadley, who is the estranged daughter of Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez, recently filed a bombshell lawsuit accusing her mother of having her wrongfully committed to a mental health facility using Florida’s controversial Baker and Marchman Acts.

“They’ve [Roc Nation] abused her [Nicki Minaj’s] freedom of speech, they’ve abused her family, they’ve attacked her husband, they’ve attacked her child…It should really scare the American people,” Hadley said in the interview.

“Me, it should really scare you guys, too, right? Because I’m the daughter, so it’s like, at this point, if it’s happening to me, I think she’s really outspoken and I’m grateful that she’s being outspoken on it because I think she’s almost saying it like, ‘well, it happened to me, it’s happening to her, let me speak up on it, nobody is safe right now.”

Minaj has always claimed that Jay-Z’s Roc Nation has tried to silence her. Now, Minaj is warning others never to call her a “liar” again.

“Vengeance is the Lord’s. Be careful. No one who conspired on the wrong side will go unpunished for the role they played in this movie. I hope it was all worth it,” Minaj wrote in one of her tweets.

Roc Nation has not responded to the claims.
