WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Former Lazio and Valencia midfielder Stefano Fiore is convinced that Atalanta ace Ademola Lookman is the best winger in the Italian Serie A, Soccernet.football reports. One of the most prestigious leagues on the planet, Serie A boasts some of the finest wingers in the business. AC Milan forward Rafael Leao, Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who is on his way to PSG, USMNT ace Christian Pulisic, and Juventus duo Kenan Yıldız and Francisco Conceição are some of the wingers causing fullbacks nightmares every week. Napoli’s Brazilian winger, David Neres, who joined from Benfica for €28 million in the summer, could be the new addition to the conversation. The former Ajax star has notched two goals and five assists in 18 Serie A appearances for Napoli this term. While Stefano Fiore applauds the quality of Neres, the former Italian international remains convinced that Atalanta’s Lookman is the finest winger in Serie A. “The best winger in Serie A? I’d say Lookman, although Neres has also improved a lot in recent weeks,” said Stefano Fiore, as per Tutto Juve. Lookman has been one of the most productive attackers in the Italian Serie A since he joined Atalanta from RB Leipzig for less than €10 million two and a half years ago. The 27-year-old attacker has featured in 102 games across all competitions for Atalanta, scoring 44 goals and adding 24 assists. Interestingly, that is more goals and assists than the combined tally he managed for all the other five clubs he played for in his career. This season alone, the Nigerian forward has nine goals and five assists in 19 league games as well as three goals and an assist in five UEFA Champions League matches.
