“Nigerian performers are lazy and lack substance” – Chioma Good Hair advises Nigerian artists as she uses Juma Jux as case study

Nigerian socialite and reality star Chioma Ikokwu, better known as Chioma Good Hair, has sent a message to Nigerian artists and performers.

On her Snapchat page, the RHOL reality star wished Nigerian performers would start putting more effort into their performances, like Tanzanian singer Juma Jux. She said she finds many of their performances lazy, lacklustre, and lacking in rehearsal and substance.

She, however, said that not all of their performances are bad, but the majority are terrible and have no business on stage.

“I wish Nigerian performers would start putting more effort into their performances like Juma did. I find a lot of their performances lazy and lacklustre. It lacks rehearsal & substance. And it’s unfair considering the love their fans show.

Don’t get me wrong. Not all of them are bad. The good ones are very, very good, but trust me, the majority are terrible and have no business on stage. “.

At the award ceremony, Juma Jux, who attended the event with his wife, Priscilla, won the Best East African Artiste of the Year award. In his speech, Juma thanked God, his wife, his management, his family, his JP lovers, and the award organisers for believing in East African music.

A Twitter user identified as Oku Yungx implied that the Tanzanian singer got married to Priscilla to gain recognition and win awards in Nigeria.

Defending him, Priscilla sarcastically said her husband got married for Nigerian recognition and the Headies Award. She affirmed that the game is the game as she gave a shout-out to Juma, whom she described as a smart, calculative, and hardworking man.

Last year, while speaking on Priscilla and Juma Jux’s relationship, she revealed how they met, stating that when Priscilla first set eyes on Jux, she smiled and giggled, and when Jux saw her, he stopped and stared until he couldn’t help himself and came to speak to her.
