A concerned citizen, Adamu Yusuf, accused some powerful interests of turning the repeated failures into a money-making scheme, insisting the crisis has been politicized instead of solved. He lamented that what should take many years to occur has become a regular occurrence, with no one held accountable.
Yusuf described the situation as embarrassing and unacceptable, stressing that the Federal Government has failed to provide lasting solutions, allowing a critical national infrastructure to be treated as “business as usual.”
