“Nigerians have rejected you, your desperation knows no bound” – APC hits Atiku again

The All Progressives Congress (APC), through its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, has issued another strongly worded statement criticizing Atiku Abubakar’s persistence that he won the 2023 presidential election.

Atiku, Niegria’s former vice president, contested against President Bola Tinubu on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2023 polls.

In the statement released Tuesday, November 5, Morka described Atiku as “Africa’s most infamous presidential election loser.”

He stated that Nigerians have consistently rejected Atiku’s candidacy, accusing the former vice president of incompetence, corruption, and desperation.

The APC further defended the legitimacy of the election results, stating that Atiku’s claims have been conclusively dismissed by Nigeria’s judicial system.

Morka accused Atiku of failing to accept reality, painting a picture of “extreme and disturbing political desperation.”

The statement also criticized Atiku’s tenure as Vice President, particularly pointing to the controversial petrol subsidy policies and allegations of economic mismanagement that, according to the APC, negatively impacted Nigeria’s economy.

“Atiku’s desperation to be president can only be understood in the context of his determination to complete the full subversion of Nigeria’s economic life from where he left off as Vice President.

“Nigerians will not entrust their country to someone who puts his selfish interest, and the interest of his cronies over and above the national interest,” the APC stated.
