Nigerians prefer giving birth abroad for benefits – Davido

Davido has shared his thoughts on why many Nigerians choose to give birth outside the country.

It is well-known that a trend has emerged among upper and middle-class Nigerians to have their children born abroad.

 In a recent episode of The Morning Hustle podcast, Davido explained that this practice is akin to purchasing an insurance policy.

He pointed out that children born abroad gain access to foreign citizenship, better opportunities, quality medical care, and superior education, among other advantages.

“Giving birth abroad has become common among Nigerians. Besides having access to better medical facilities overseas, people want to avoid the hassle of applying for visas for their children,” he stated.

Recall that Davido and his beautiful wife, Chioma in 2023, gave birth to their twin babies in the United States of America.
