Promising Nigerian midfielder Victor Eletu is set to leave AC Milan this summer, with Schalke 04, Lorient, and Paris FC among a host of European clubs vying for his signature, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 20-year-old, who captained Milan’s Primavera (U19) side this season, is out of contract in a matter of days and is weighing up his next move after struggling to break into the first team at San Siro.
Despite earning several call-ups to the senior side under Stefano Pioli and featuring on the bench in Serie A, Europa League, and Coppa Italia matches, Eletu never made a senior appearance.
He also featured sparingly for Milan Futuro — AC Milan’s Serie C reserve team — making only four appearances, all late in the 2024–25 season, as the side suffered relegation from Serie C.

Eletu, a former youth player at Prince Kazeem Eletu Academy in Lagos, joined AC Milan in 2018 and rose steadily through the ranks. His leadership in the Primavera team saw him record 25 appearances, two goals, and four assists this season, prompting frustration among fans who believed he deserved more opportunities at the senior level.
Having impressed with the Flying Eagles at the 2023 U-20 World Cup where Nigeria reached the quarterfinal, the young midfielder will not be short of admirers.

Eletu is reportedly considering offers from Germany, France, and Portugal, with Alverca, Schalke, Lorient, and Paris FC all making inquiries, according to French Football Weekly.
The versatile midfielder is believed to be prioritising a sporting project that offers regular football and development opportunities.
With his contract about to expire and several clubs monitoring him closely, Eletu could prove to be a smart signing for any side willing to invest in his vast potential.
