WATCH THE VIDEO HERE The Nintendo Switch 2 design may have just been shown by way of an accidental leak, and surprise, it doesn’t really look a whole lot different from the original. At least from what can be seen. The design of the upcoming Switch successor has been leaked before through unofficial CAD renders. So this isn’t the first time that what appeared to be the Switch 2 has shown up in front of the public eye. That being said, those CAD renders came from an unofficial source. Today’s leak comes from a now-deleted tweet from a third-party accessories maker for the original Nintendo Switch console. Of course, there are two things to keep in mind here. One is that the image of what is perceived to be the Switch 2 may not be the Switch 2 at all. It’s certainly possible that it was just the original Switch or Switch OLED. Then again, the tweet that supposedly showed off Nintendo’s unreleased console has been deleted. And that seems to suggest that it wasn’t supposed to be shown yet. That means it could be the Switch 2. Secondly, the image is pretty blurry, so it’s tough to make out any major details of the console. If you’re familiar at all with Nintendo Switch accessories then you probably know of Satisfye. It makes a wide array of different accessories for the Switch and Switch OLED. One of its most popular was the Zen Grip Pro – a grip attachment that you slide the Nintendo Switch into so you have more of a full-size controller feel. It also comes with large hand grips and even little kickstand feet that allow the console to stand upright. This is so you can play with a separate controller instead of the Joy-Cons. Satisfye’s recent leak concerns the Zen Grip 2. This new version of the Zen Grip Pro is supposedly intended for the Nintendo Switch 2. A blurry image could briefly be seen of what appears to be the Switch 2 sliding into the Zen Grip 2 before the ad was pulled by Satisfye. But not before screenshots were taken. As noted by TechRadar, a user on X named DP19 grabbed a screenshot and posted it. You can kind of see the outline of the console, but as mentioned, it’s far too blurry to make out any real details. Satisfye may have removed the original tweet that had the video ad for this new product. It still has the product listed on its webpage, however. And while there are no images of the console, it does have other interesting information. With Nintendo fans eager to get any information at all relevant to Nintendo’s next console, leaks like this seem to drum up lots of excitement. While there’s no official launch date set for the Nintendo Switch 2 at this time, there have been several rumors surrounding this exact topic. The most recent popped up this week stating that Nintendo may be looking to launch the console in late Spring, specifically sometime in June. Here’s where the Zen Grip 2 comes back into play. The company’s product page for the accessory says that the Zen Grip is anticipated to launch in Spring 2025. So if this is indeed for the Nintendo Switch 2, then we’re likely to see the console coming at the same time. This matches up with the latest rumor. The Nintendo Switch 2 design leak comes from accessory maker Satisfye
