Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has tendered a public apology to Big Brother Naija former housemate, Imisi.
Kemi Filani reported a day ago that the reality star, television personality, fashion designer, and actress had turned a year older, and to celebrate, she threw a lavish bash with celebrities in attendance.
Spotted at the party were Do2dtun, Bisola Aiyeola, Kiekie, Nkechi Blessing, Brodashaggi, BBNaija Kola, Mide, Mitchy, Isabella, Kayvee, and more.
At the party, Nkechi, while giving a speech, had questioned if the reality star would ever forgive and reconcile with her mother.
Her statement didn’t sit well with netizens, who have been dragging her mercilessly on Twitter.
Addressing the massive backlash, Nkechi tendered heartfelt apology to the reality star and her fans.
She made it clear she wasn’t trying to chase clout, and Imisi can reciprocate it on her birthday.
“I sincerely want to apologise to anybody who got offended by the question I asked Imisi a couple of hours ago at her party. If you find my question offensive, I am sorry. Find a place in your heart to forgive me. Whoever is dragging me, fighting me, abusing me, please don’t be offended”.
Recall that on Sunday, October 5, Imisi emerged as the winner of the grand prize, beating Dede, Koyin, Sultana, Kola, Jason Jae, Mensan, Kaybobi, and Isabella.
For winning the show, Imisi took home the N159 million grand prize, which included a cash prize, an SUV, and additional sponsored prizes.
Dede had 15.94% of the votes, while Koyin finished in third place with 15.23%. The top five places were completed by Sultana (7.94%) and Kola (5.48%).
Following her win, Yomi Fabiyi made it known that Imisi was his protege, as he shared a video of her at one of his events. He stated that the reality star was always happy for others, hence, he was reciprocating the love by cheering her on.
Also celebrating her, actress Ronke said Imisi is indeed destined to be a star as she affirmed her love for her. She revealed that she fell in love with her halfway through the show because she was drawn to her personality, which reminded her of her younger days.
Socialite and singer Yhemo Lee had revealed his plans for Imisi. He promised to host Imisi at a club once she comes home.
Unlike them, Ossai Ovie Success, the aide to the Delta State Governor, has threatened to sue Big Brother Naija organisers, accusing them of rigging the votes to favour Imisi. He said Dede deserved to be crowned the winner for making viewers proud.
