Workers of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), with support from the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), staged a protest at the National Industrial Court in Abuja on Monday.

The demonstration is part of their ongoing, total and indefinite strike over unresolved labor disputes.

The protest was in response to a directive from the NLC, which expressed full backing for the industrial action.

The NLC has called the strike justified, citing what it describes as continuous violations of workers’ rights by both the FCTA management and political leadership.

The protesters carried placards with messages such as “Wike must go!!”, “Abuja no be Rivers”, “Pay promotion arrears”, “Enough is Enough”, and “No working tools”.
