WATCH THE VIDEO HERE A subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd, NNPC Gas Marketing Ltd and its joint venture partner, NIPCO Gas Ltd, have signed a Gas Sale and Purchase Agreement (GSPA) with Ssonic Petroleum Ltd. A statement by NNPC Ltd’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye, said the agreement is for the supply of natural gas to its planned LNG plant in the Lekki Free Trade Zone, Lagos State, giving Nigeria’s Liquefied Natural Gas sector a major boost. He described the deal as a strategic move to strengthen Nigeria’s gas sector and accelerate industrial growth. The NGML-NIPCO Unincorporated Joint Venture will supply 80 million standard cubic feet per day of natural gas to the Ssonic Petroleum LNG plant over the next 20 years.
