NNPP National Publicity Secretary, Ladipo Johnson, in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja celebrated the party’s 2023 presidential flag bearer for his unwavering commitment to national unity, development and service to humanity.
Johnson also acknowledged Kwankwaso’s pro-poor leadership philosophy and his enduring impact during his tenure as governor of Kano and his remarkable contributions at the national level, including his service as Minister of Defence.
“As he marks his 69th birthday, we salute our dear leader and the party’s flag bearer in the 2023 presidential election, Kwankwaso, for his unwavering commitment to national unity and development.
“Of course, we cannot overlook his pro-poor leadership orientation and enduring impact, particularly while he was in the saddle as governor of Kano State.
“His remarkable national service as Defence Minister and other collaborative efforts to advance the cause of renewal in Nigeria via his politics of meaning and substance over the years can also not be overlooked,” Johnson said.
The NNPP spokesman wished the former governor a happy birthday and longevity in good health and continued service to people across board.
