NNPP fastest-growing party, APC, PDP broken – Kwankwaso

Kwankwaso

The national leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party, Rabiu Kwankwaso, on Monday, described the Peoples Democratic Party as a “dead party.”

He also criticised the ruling All Progressives Congress, saying it was out of touch with the current realities Nigerians are grappling with, which include escalating insecurity, abject poverty, and widespread hunger.

Kwankwaso, who spoke in Kano during  NNPP’s National Executive Committee meeting, emphasised that despite the numerous challenges confronting the party, the NNPP was the fastest-growing political movement in Nigeria.

He thanked the party’s supporters for their dedication and commitment, expressing confidence in the party’s future and describing it as a viable alternative in the country’s political landscape.

“I’m pleased to say that despite all the challenges, today, our party is the fastest-growing party in this country. I remember when I visited Katsina State to inaugurate our state office, I mentioned that the two parties, especially the PDP, were dead, and there are so many concerns within the fold of the PDP,” Kwankwaso noted.

He added, “I’m sure when I made that statement, many of them did not foresee what is happening today—that the party has been broken into pieces.”
