Just days after he allegedly blew off his hand while handling fireworks, the family of No Jumper cohost 4xtra launched a GoFundMe to raise funds for his medical costs.
Reports say that Xtra lit a firework, which exploded in his hand before he could throw it, resulting in a traumatic injury, emergency treatment, and potential long-term damage.
“On the 4th of July, 4XTRA was injured in a firework accident. As many of you know, medical care can be incredibly expensive and add up very fast,” his sister, Emily, wrote.
“4xtra is someone who lights up every room with his humor and energy. If you’ve ever laughed with him, shared a moment, or simply care about his well-being, any support—from donations to prayers or even just sharing this—means the world to us,” she continued.
4xtra is hoping to raise $30,000, and as of this morning, it has already raised nearly $10,000.
After the incident, 4xtra’s No Jumper boss, Adam Grandmaison, known as Adam22, took to X, formerly Twitter, to provide an update to his fans:
“I’m hearing that 4xtra only lost 2 fingers, not the whole hand. Also, he was blind for a few hours, but apparently his vision is back.”
