Tinubu 1 1

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sent warm Christmas greetings to Christians in Nigeria and across the world, calling for peace, unity, and care for one another during the festive season.

Naijaonpoint reports that in a statement released on Christmas Eve, the president said the period should remind everyone of the life and teachings of Jesus Christ and the need to live in love and patience.

In his message, the President thanked God for the chance to serve the nation and prayed for peace among people of different faiths.

He restated his pledge to protect the rights of all Nigerians to worship freely and live without fear, regardless of belief or background.

Tinubu praised Christians in the country for their role in nation-building and for supporting the weak and less privileged in society.

He said many citizens continue to show kindness and goodwill, inspired by the example of Christ, especially in communities facing hardship and insecurity.

The President said that since taking office in 2023, his administration has continued to work to keep the country safe and united.

He said every Nigerian deserves dignity and protection under the law and called for stronger cooperation among religious groups to prevent conflict and promote peaceful living.

Tinubu also urged Nigerians travelling for the holidays to be patient and orderly on the roads so they can return safely to their families and daily lives.

He expressed hope that, with faith and joint effort, the country will keep moving toward a better future for the coming generations.

The President wished all citizens a joyful Christmas celebration and a happy New Year in advance.
