Stray bullet as hit those living in Ikorodu as media personality Daddy Freeze battled with Mainlanders over the flood in Lagos.

Kemi Filani reported that during the week of Davido’s wedding, many Mainlanders had mocked those living in the
Island over the flood, which made some guests at the wedding ceremony arrive late.

Now getting back at them, Daddy Freeze noted how those living on the Mainland also suffer from the heavy downpour of rain, which has left most of Lagos State flooded. He noted how they were mocking them, and now the table has turned on them.

“Mainland too is flooded. Shebi dem dey laugh for Island. Now na their turn”.

A fan of his, identified as Owolabi Anifowose, responding to his post, countered him as he noted how Ikorodu isn’t flooded.

“Ikorodu is not flooded o”.

Hitting back, Daddy Freeze threw shade at those living in Ikorodu as he stated that no one wants to live there, even if it’s dry.

“Don’t worry, no one wants to live there even if it’s dry”.

In his caption, he added, “This life is turn by turn”.

There has been a constant battle between Mainlanders and Islanders in Lagos. Months back, actress Anita Joseph sent a message to female podcasters fond of demeaning people’s lifestyles in the Mainland. She revealed that she prefers the Mainland, particularly Omole Phase 1, to the Island because of her husband, as she noted how there is also a high calibre of people living on the mainland.

Meanwhile, media personality Moet Abebe boldly stated that she would not be able to date a man who stays on the mainland because he would not be up to her standards.

Her co-host, Tolani Baj, on her part, had expressed that she wouldn’t mind dating a guy who stays on the mainland as long as he was willing to see her whenever she needed him.

Similarly, Big Brother Naija star Doyin revealed that she would not be able to date a man who stays on the mainland because most of her work, her family and everything she likes is centred around the island. She revealed that the man would have to move to be with her on the island, and if he can’t, he should look for a Mainland girlfriend.
