President Donald Trump of the United States has slammed media reports questioning the state of his health.
In a post on his Truth Social on Wednesday, Trump described the reports as seditious and ‘treasonable’.
The 79-year-old raged about stories in The New York Times and elsewhere suggesting that at he is slowing down due to Old age.
“There has never been a President who has worked as hard as I! My hours are the longest, and my results are among the best.
“I actually believe it’s seditious, perhaps even treasonous, for The New York Times, and others, to consistently do FAKE reports in order to libel and demean ‘THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES,” he said.
He added that he had gone through long, thorough and very boring medical examinations and had been able to ace cognitive tests that other presidents had not taken.
He said that it would be much better if The New York Times would cease publication, stressing that they “are a horrible, biased, and untruthful ‘source’ of information”.
