Nobody Can Say I Don’t Have Money For Hospital Bills Under Tinubu’s Govt – APC Govs

Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma

Governors elected under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have applauded the President Bola Tinubu-led administration on its achievements in the education and healthcare sectors.

The governors stated that all Nigerians can now have access to education and healthcare.

Chairman of APC Governors, Hope Uzodinma, made the claim while briefing newsmen shortly after a meeting of the Progressive Governors in Abuja.

According to him, the administration has provided loans to students and ensured that “health insurance schemes” are functioning properly.

Citing the recent defection of Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara into the party, Uzodinma declared that Nigerians are happy with Tinubu’s government.

He said, “What Nigerians are saying is that the reform policy of President Tinubu is working.

“Today, nobody can say I’m not educated because I have no money to go to school because we have loans.

“Again, nobody will say, I couldn’t treat myself because I have no money for hospital bills because, Today, we have a health insurance scheme that is working”.

Meanwhile, Siminalayi Fubara has paid unscheduled visit to the national headquarters of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Naijaonpoint gathered that Fubara, who recently dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), visited the ruling party’s headquarters on Wednesday night.

Fubara arrived at the party secretariat at about 6:50 p.m., where he was received by officials of the ruling APC.

Those who received the South-South governor include: the APC National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru; the National Welfare Secretary, Hon. Donatus Nwapa; and the Deputy National Organising Secretary, Nze Chidi Duru.

The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo (SAN), was also present to welcome the governor.

Dressed in a white kaftan and red cap, Fubara told the National Secretary that although he was expected at the Progressive Governors’ meeting, he felt it was necessary to visit the party headquarters first.

He was subsequently ushered into the office of the National Secretary, where they held a closed-door meeting.
