Nollywood actor, Odunlade Adekola, has buried his father, Pastor N.A. Adekola, in Otun Ekiti, Ekiti State.
Naijaonpoint reports that the cleric, who passed away in July at the age of 84, was laid to rest following a series of funeral activities held in both Ekiti and Ogun states.
The ceremonies began with a Service of Songs on August 18 at Christ Apostolic Church, Akole, Abeokuta, and it was followed by a Christian wake and lying-in-state on Wednesday in Otun Ekiti.

The interment took place on Thursday, August 21, in Otun Ekiti, with a thanksgiving service and reception.
Several Nollywood stars, including Ibrahim Chatta, Muyiwa Ademola, Eniola Ajao, and Ireti Osayemi, joined Odunlade’s family and sympathisers to pay their last respects.
In other news, the Nigeria Police Force has dismissed a viral “wanted” poster of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo circulating online.
Naijaonpoint reports that fake poster claimed the entrepreneur was wanted by the authorities and a certain reward would be given for information leading to her arrest.
But in a statement released on its official Facebook page on Thursday morning, the police described ...er as fake and misleading.
The Force clarified that ...er did not originate from the police and was never shared on any of its verified platforms.
The police urged the public to ignore the false information and warned against spreading such content.
It further advised Nigerians to confirm updates only through the official channels of the Nigeria Police Force.
