Nollywood actor and movie producer Lateef Adedimeji has urged the public to normalise praying.

In his New Year’s message, he said people aren’t jealous of material things anymore, but are jealous of one’s aura, personality, natural leadership abilities, and things that money can’t buy.

“Normalise praying. People aren’t jealous of material things anymore. They’re jealous of your Aura, your personality, and the way people love and support you.
Your natural leadership abilities.
Things money can’t buy”.

Last year, Lateef Adedimeji, while reflecting on his journey, recalled how people questioned his colleague, Yewande Adekoya, when she handpicked him for a role, but she stood firm and saw the future. Lateef said when his personal production failed, he almost gave up, but he kept hustling and did lots of free work before heaven smiled on him.

He had reflected on his journey, which he admitted wasn’t smooth. However, that’s what makes the triumphs sweet, hence why his heart can’t be filled with gratitude.

The talented actor opened up on his pre-fame journey recalling how the man who trained him in the Yoruba movie industry told him that he would fail within one year. The movie star stated that he replied to the man, telling him to give him two years, and he would see what he would become.

In 2023, Lateef had reflected on the past as he celebrated his growth. Sharing a throwback photo of himself, he stated that his journey over the years was the spirit of not giving up. Lateef stated that if anyone had told him then that he would be what he is today, he would likely throw stones at them.

In another post, he reflected on how he went from being the boy backstage to leading a galaxy of stars in bringing them this masterpiece.
