In his New Year message, Kpalukwu said the management’s vision is to establish the club as a significant contender within the football landscape.

He expressed confidence in the collective efforts needed to reach their ambitious goals.

“Together, we will strive to make Rivers United FC a formidable presence in the football world,” Kpalukwu stated.

Currently sitting in second place with 34 points from 19 matches, Rivers United look forward to an exciting challenge against Plateau United when the league resumes next month.

El-Kanemi Warriors’ technical adviser, Aliyu Zubairu, is determined to build on last season’s successes as he aims for further achievements this year. Under his guidance, the Maiduguri club secured promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) and triumphed in the Federation Cup.
