Reports earlier on indicates that There is palpable tension in Obianime-Ama Community in Okrika Local Government Area of Rivers State as a ruptured pipeline was discovered leaking an unidentified petroleum product in broad daylight unchecked. Sources says the pipeline belongs to the Pipeline and Products Marketing Company (PPMC), a subsidiary of Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) Eyewitnesses says the leakage occurred around 2:30pm on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at a location inside Obianime-Ama Community opposite PPMC facility in Okrika LGA.
