President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has approved the appointment of Director-General and other members of the Management Team for the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
Segun Imohiosen, Director, Information & Public Relations Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation confirmed the appointment in a statement he signed.
Before now, reports of the appointment had been trending on social media for some time without official confirmation.
Imohiosen in his statement Friday listed those appointed by the president to include: Director-General: Rotimi Pedro (South-West); Executive Director, Marketing: Karimah Bello (North-West): Executive Director, News: Stella Din Jacob (North-Central); and Managing Director, NTA Enterprises Limited: Sophia Essahmed (North-East)
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu tasks the new appointees to work as a team in repositioning and revitalizing the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) by infusing innovations into the Agency for effective service delivery”, OSGF statement concluded.
