Dr Yusuf Yakub, the Director-General (DG) of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps, has lauded President Bola Tinubu for his landmark achievements in addressing Nigeria’s economy challenges in two years.
Yakub, a former Member of the House of Representatives, gave the commendation in his congratulatory message singed by Nkem Anyata-Lafia, his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity on Thursday in Abuja.
He said that Tinubu had risen above global economic dynamics and confronted squarely other regional and countrywide downturns.
According to him, this has placed Nigeria on the path of self-redemption, effervescent hope and optimism for a glorious tomorrow.
“Nigerians are excited at how ingeniously Mr President 7iwas able to pull back an economy tottering on the brinks of collapse to one that has started repaying debts and raising external reserves of the country.
“I convey my humble congratulations on the reformative and transformational turnaround that you have injected into governance and national leadership in these last two years.
“Without an iota of doubt, you came in,you saw and you have conquered,” he said.
He recalled, as a former federal lawmaker, how challenges of insecurity, ethno-regional tensions as well as sullen economic indices had bedevilled the nationin the past.
“It was, indeed, a tall order to find that man who could clean the Augean stable.
“Most of the challenges arose as a result of several factors, most of which were global and , therefore, beyond the control of the former national leadership.
“Today, mthe President has not only risen above global economic dynamics but confronted squarely other regional and countrywide downturns.
“This has placed our nation back on the path of self-redemption, effervescent hope and optimism for a glorious tomorrow,” he said.(NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
