In a statement released yesterday, NYSC Acting Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, urged the public to disregard these claims, emphasizing that they are not from the Scheme. She stated that all communications between Prospective Corps Members and the NYSC occur through their individual dashboards and officially sanctioned social media platforms. “The Management of the National Youth Service Corps has been alerted to misleading information being spread by some individuals, asserting that Prospective Corps Members who have yet to receive their Call-Up Numbers should go to the State Secretariats for this purpose,” the statement noted. “To clarify, all Prospective Corps Members still awaiting their Call-Up Numbers are advised to remain patient, regularly check their dashboards, and visit the NYSC’s social media platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, Threads) for updates.”
