The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the commencement of registration for new Cyber Café Business Operators (CBOs) across Nigeria. The registration window opens on Monday, 20th October, and will close on Monday, 27th October 2025.
This opportunity allows entrepreneurs and business owners to officially partner with the NYSC to provide online registration and related services to prospective corps members (PCMs) nationwide.
According to the management, interested applicants must complete their registration through the official NYSC CBO portal at https://cbo.nysc.gov.ng within the stated period.
Applicants are required to pay a ₦5,000 Expression of Interest fee, a ₦20,000 registration fee, and an ₦18,000 annual renewal fee to maintain their operational status. Approved operators will also be allowed to charge PCMs a fixed service fee of ₦3,000 per registration, as approved by the NYSC.
Each cyber café must have a minimum of five computer systems running Windows 10, along with a document scanner, a digital fingerprint scanner, and a high-resolution camera to meet the technical standards.
The NYSC emphasized that only properly registered and approved operators will be authorized to handle the 2025 online registration process for prospective corps members. The agency encouraged early registration and compliance with all requirements to avoid disqualification.
