WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Former Secretary to the Anambra State Government and campaign manager to the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 election, Mr Oseloka Obaze, has dumped the LP. Obaze cited “unresolved leadership issues at the national level” for his decision. He expressed concerns over LP’s poor handling of internal affairs and protested what he described as the shoddy conduct of the April 5, 2025, governorship primary in Anambra state, alleging irregularities in the exercise. Obaze’s resignation was conveyed through a letter addressed to the LP Chairman in his Ochuche Ward 406, Ogbaru local government. His resignation from the LP may deepen the crisis in the Anambra chapter where he was one of the leading lights. Mr Obaze played a strategic role in Obi’s 2023 presidential campaign. He was one of the formidable forces behind the Obidient movement. Obaze, however, did not indicate his next move, as to which party he may wish to join.
