Obi Cubana Speaks On Most Important Assignment Amid Backlash Over APC Appointment

Popular Nigerian businessman, Obinna Iyiegbu, better known as Obi Cubana, has ignored backlash trailing his alliance with an All Progressives Congress (APC) group.

Naijaonpoint recalls that an APC group, the City Boy Movement, which is campaigning for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election, recently appointed Obi Cubana as its South-East Coordinator.

The appointment, however, attracted criticism from social media users, who blasted Obi Cubana for aligning with the APC administration, which, they said, had plunged the country into untold hardship.

Despite the online criticism, the billionaire businessman, in a post via his Facebook page, revealed that his current most important assignment is to win souls for Christ Jesus.

He said, “The most important assignment now is winning souls for Christ”.

“Our week is way too blessed and full of fruitfulness, amen! Awesome time in God’s presence as always.”

In other news, Obi Cubana recently praised the Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori for his leadership.

Speaking during a visit to the Government House, Asaba, alongside Pastor Jerry Eze, Cubana described Oborevwori’s leadership as God-fearing, people-focused, and development-driven, and declared that “Delta is in very good hands.”

He reaffirmed confidence in Governor Oborevwori’s leadership and assured him that the Millennium City project would be completed by December 2026.

He said, “When the righteous is on the throne, the state rejoices! Delta State is indeed blessed to have a God-fearing and development-oriented Governor. Delta State is in very good hands.”

Cubana also expressed appreciation to the Governor for his openness and accessibility, adding, “Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Executive Governor of Delta State, thanks for the access always! We are bringing magic to Delta State”
