The resurgence of insecurity in Andoni is a cause for concern, as it threatens the peace and stability of the region.
The Obolo Youth Coalition, Rivers State Chapter, is deeply disturbed by the recent spate of brutal killings in Andoni Local Government Area, Rivers State. We unequivocally condemned these egregious acts of violence and extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims.
In the wake of these tragic events, we, the Obolo Youth Coalition, earnestly appeal to our fellow youths to eschew violence and embrace peace. It is imperative that we work collectively to foster a culture of peace, tolerance, and mutual respect in our community.

To address the resurgence of insecurity in Andoni, there is a need for a concerted effort from the government, security agencies, community leaders, and residents to work together to identify and address the root causes of the problem. Increased security presence, improved intelligence gathering, and community engagement are essential to restoring peace and stability in Andoni. Additionally, addressing the underlying social and economic issues that contribute to insecurity can help prevent future occurrences of violence in the region.

We urgently call upon the relevant authorities, including the Anolga Boss, Hon. Otuo Lucky Promise, the Rivers State Governor, His Excellency, Sir Siminalaye Joseph Fubara, and the Commissioner of Police, Rivers State Command CP Olugbenga Adepoju Adewole to take immediate and decisive action to ensure the restoration of peace and security in Andoni LGA, particularly before, during and after the forthcoming yuletide season.

We demand that the perpetrators of these heinous crimes be brought to justice and face the full weight of the law.

Signed:

Comr. Jonathan J. Eyina
