Adidas have created this year’s match ball and named it the ‘Fussballliebe.’
Here is all you need to know about the ball 24 nations will be using over the next month…
Euro 2024 official match ball
The Fussballliebe was unveiled at the back end of 2023 by UEFA and Adidas at a special event in Berlin at the Olympiastadion.
Fussballliebe translates from German to English as ‘love of football’, and a lot of thought has gone into the design.
Starting with the look of the ball, Adidas picked powerful and vibrant colours to represent the diversity of the nations competing at Euro 2024.
There are also pictures of all the stadiums and names of the host cities.
In addition, each host city will receive 900 extra balls to distribute to schools and local football clubs.
Plus, one per cent of net sales will be donated to Juan Mata’s Common Goal charity project, which uses football to tackle social issues.

The ball is made from sustainable bio-based materials, including corn fibre and wood pulp.
In terms of the ball itself, Adidas have included Connected Ball Technology, which helps with VAR and goalline technology.
They also claim the outer shell incorporates the CTR-CORE, which contributes to quicker and more precise play.
So Adidas have done everything in their power to make this ball as good as possible and UEFA are pleased.
