After months of fighting with his estranged wife, Cardi B, privately and in public, Offset has finally admitted that he is to blame for their failed marriage.
“I f–ked up. It take for people that you love or that you respect what they say, for them to actually check in, forreal. It’s not a lot of people who do that where you can be honest and say ‘I f–ked up’ but I gotta acknowledge that and then get back on the journey. I’ve accepted the actions I’ve done to cause certain situations to happen,” he told Ebro Darden.
He continued, “I had to but at first I didn’t, you know? Trying to act tough and trying to act like I didn’t give a f–k at first. The actions that I did during the time that I was acting that way helped me realize that ‘you just wrong, get out your feelings and go back to your mission, leave that alone,’ but I am happy with everything. I want the best, I’ve accepted it.”
Viewers remain doubtful that Offset’s remarks are sincere, as he has been regularly trolling Cardi and her new man on social media.
Cardi B first filed for divorce from Offset in September 2020 after it was revealed that he had cheated on her several times. After he embarked on a public campaign to win him back, she later called it off. She filed for divorce again on July 31, 2024.
She is now dating NFL star Stefon Diggs.
